Then you belong at SACC — Curtin’s official home for celebrating South Asian heritage, community, and creativity. We host vibrant festivals, chill hangouts, cultural nights, and more. Whether you’re proudly South Asian or simply keen to explore and connect, everyone is welcome.

Membership Options:

Curtin Students – Ordinary Member
As a Curtin student, becoming a member is completely free! You’ll get access to all of our events, exclusive invites, and the chance to vote and have your say at General Meetings. You can also nominate for leadership roles on our committee!

Non-Curtin Students – Associate Member
Not a Curtin student? No problem. Whether you’re from another uni, Curtin College, or just passionate about the culture — you can still join us as an Associate Member for free. You’ll be welcome at all our events and activities. The only difference? Associate members can’t vote or hold committee positions. But you're still family.

Want to be more than just a member?
Here’s your chance to shape the club’s future! Every year, we elect a new committee at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), and any Ordinary Member (like you) can put their hand up. Members will get an email when nominations open, so keep an eye out!

Who can apply?
Any Ordinary Member! Just sign up as a member, then nominate when roles open. Elections happen at the our General Meetings, and members like you vote for the new team.
